Whether you're a Radiohead fan, or not, I think that this is a very interesting idea of theirs, which was pointed out to me by a friend of mine:

They intend on making their next album available for download in MP3 format, for free. The idea is that if you like it, you can pay however much you wish for it, or can indeed download it for free if you don't want to pay.
I guess they know that people will probably download it for free anyways if they don't put it up, so at least people have a choice to give them a little bit of money for it...
