So today I met up with a friend of mine, and we were walking out the doors of the shopping centre, when something strange happened.

I was looking back, and holding the door for someone coming behind me, and when I turned, I saw someone I was *not* expecting to see. A (once) very very close friend of mine of a few years walked up. For the last 6 months when she had been in contact with me (2005 I think?), she had become very withdrawn and agoraphobic (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/agoraphobic). And I have had no contact with her whatsoever in about two years. It was literally as if she had dropped off the face of the planet!
Her house phone was disconnected, her sim card broken/lost, her email account closed down, her bebo profile cancelled...there was no way to get in contact besides calling to her house, and I realised that she needed her space so I didn't wanna go there...

But she was there, out and about! I was so surprised to see her, I couldn't do much more than ask her for her number and stumble away, almost shaking with the shock! (We were REALLY REALLY good friends...)

I've got in contact with her now though...hopefully we'll stay that way for awhile...

You know that feeling when lots of different people want you to do different things in different places at the same time?! Ugh...Like, they know I can't be everywhere at once!
Seems to be happening far too often for my liking lately...
