Today, for a change, I'm really enjoying the philosophy I'm studying...Noel Carroll writes so clearly and makes even complex points seem so easy to understand, and very interesting too...

Makes a change...though it's funny that tomorrow is my final philosophy exam...ever!

In the continuance of complaints about essays I have to do for college, the current project is an essay on montage.
I cannot possibly write this essay without continuously having the song from Team America: World Police in my head at all times.

"Show a lot of things happening at once
Remind everyone of what’s going on
And with every shot you show a little improvement
To show it all would take too long

At least it's entertaining...I think I must include the lyrics in the essay, cos, in fairness to it, it does explain montage very very well.

I was also extremely tempted to, instead of actually doing the essay, just make a montage of myself doing the essay and hand that in instead. I'm really not sure how well that'd go down with the philosophy department in UCC. One thing's for sure though, it would be a LOT more fun than writing an actual essay...

I'm in the library in college, doing an essay (or, you know, posting on my livejournal, but what can ya do!?)
It's very quiet, but only in the way that you can hear every little thing, like people turning pages, the vague wash of traffic down on ground level, and of course me typing!

Beginning to get just that little bit paranoid...I'm playing in a game of assassins at the moment, just starting at twelve o clock today, but in the quiet, almost deserted library, somebody could strike at any time....well any time after twelve that is!


I checked out my contract a lil bit ago, and was pleased to find out that this time it's somebody that I actually know! It does make a change...but it will still be a little difficult to catch them unawares, cos they know me kinda well...hmmm...

wish me luck! (and I do hope I don't die!)

I think its quite amusing that I'm doing a psychology essay on Procrastination, and right now I'm online...



It is quite possible that I'm doing research for my project on Procrastination by putting off writing the essay,
but then by doing this "research" on first hand procrastination, I am not actually procrastinating, as I am studying the topic in some strange manner...




But it still stands, I'm not doing any work...oh well...
